THE NORTH BURIAL GROUND WALKING TOUR PROJECT.
Fran Leazes initiated the North Burial Ground Walking Tour Project 15 years ago. It was funded by a Major Grant from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. The purpose of the project is to create digital historically themed walking tours of the North Burial Ground. The Project is currently co-directed by Fran Leazes and Professor Eric Christiansen the Director of the Public History Program at Rhode Island College. Seven tours currently exist.
